Little Vine
Curriculum

A full education rooted
in the whole story

Little Vine isn't a Bible app with a few math games bolted on. It's a complete early-childhood curriculum where every subject is woven through the same narrative thread — because that's how children actually learn.

Five subjects

Every subject, one story

In Week 14 (Noah's Ark), children count animals for math, write the word DOVE for English, learn about rain for science, and draw a rainbow for art — all in the same week, the same story.

✦

Faith & Character

The core of every lesson. Children encounter God through stories, songs, and prayer — not as a separate subject but as the frame around everything else.

  • ✓Bible story comprehension
  • ✓Memory verses (age-adapted)
  • ✓Character virtues (courage, kindness, honesty, trust)
  • ✓Prayer and gratitude habits
  • ✓Understanding the nature of God
+

Math

Counting, sorting, patterns, addition and subtraction — all introduced through stories the children are already learning. Numbers feel meaningful because they have a narrative context.

  • ✓1–20 counting (Sprouts/Explorers)
  • ✓Addition and subtraction to 20 (Builders)
  • ✓Multiplication concepts (Pathfinders)
  • ✓Shapes and spatial reasoning
  • ✓Measurement and simple data
Aa

English & Literacy

Phonics, letter recognition, sight words, and early reading — all scaffolded around the stories and vocabulary children already know from the Bible library.

  • ✓Alphabet and phonemic awareness
  • ✓Blending and segmenting sounds
  • ✓High-frequency sight words
  • ✓Early reading fluency
  • ✓Writing: name, simple sentences
🌿

Science & World

Creation science — not as propaganda but as wonder. Children learn about animals, plants, weather, the human body, and space through the lens of a God who made things and called them good.

  • ✓Creatures and their habitats
  • ✓Seasons and weather patterns
  • ✓Human body and the five senses
  • ✓Plants: growth, care, harvest
  • ✓Space: stars, sun, moon (God's lights)
♫

Art & Creativity

Every lesson has a creative response — a craft, a drawing, a song, or a movement activity. Children learn that making things is part of what it means to bear the image of a Creator God.

  • ✓Drawing and painting
  • ✓Sculpting and building
  • ✓Music: rhythm, melody, worship songs
  • ✓Storytelling and dramatic play
  • ✓Creative writing (ages 6–8)
Age groups

The same story, four ways

Every week's theme is taught at four developmental levels simultaneously — so siblings learn together, parents teach one lesson, and nobody is bored or lost.
